Law School Personal Statement I Research Proposal

I just like accumulating knowledge and my professional career has shown that you never can really know where you will be needing parts of that knowledge: I worked as a machinist for some time, but then I was able to promote because of the additional knowledge I had gained in the meantime. I hope that the education I will receive in law school would help improve my knowledge portfolio to the degree it could offer me more opportunities in the future.

Another reason why I would like to go to law school and pursue a law degree is that I have a fundamental belief in the legal system and its ability to produce justice within our society. In my life, I have had the unfortunate privilege of verifying this statement first hand. Despite this, I believe that every time I was put in such a situation, the legal system functioned irreproachably and I think that being part of this type of system would be an extraordinary accomplishment for me. In that sense, I am committed to putting all my efforts into obtaining a final degree from law school, a degree that will allow me to be integrated in the legal system and to put all my efforts and intellect to good use in order to obtain and implement just decisions.A final reason from a long list worth mentioning as an argument for my decision to go to law school is my previous work with children and my wish to continue that in the future. I was a member of our city's Recreation Board and president of two of the youth leagues (the baseball and basketball ones) and, in these positions, I did a lot of work with children. For me, completing law school would also mean directing my legal efforts towards helping disadvantaged children, those for whom society has not provided the basic care and who need a second chance, starting with their legal second chance.

In resuming my personal statement, I have not always made the best choices in life and I don't think anybody can actually boast he did. However, I always relied on both hard work and academic enthusiasm to build my way through life, including a career, an active role in the community and a degree in Business Administration. I am a firm believer in constant challenges, so I hope this to continue with a law degree that will also help me further pursue….....
