You may find that the world throws indifference and apathy at you. You will find yourself facing prejudice and intolerance at every step. You may even find that the world will laugh at your dreams, or that people will actively discourage you from following your goals and aspirations. Financial constraints will always exist, and you will find yourself at wit's end trying to find your way in this world. But that is alright! You now know that you have a solid education that has empowered you to reach limitless potential. The courage that you have brought to school in these past four years, in waking up and trying to accomplish your tasks as best as you can, has given you the right to follow your own passion, and to dream wild dreams about what you can personally do in life.

A famous speechwriter and philanthropist, Dale Carnegie, said it best with, "The people who go furthest are generally the ones who are willing to, and to dare." Live up to Mr. Carnegie's words, and dare to show excellence for the rest of your life.
Dare to have compassion and empathy in your dealings with others. Dare to make your mark on this world, and to be the best that you can be when you do it. As we now stand on the brink of our own graduation, we are entrusted with the future, by our parents' generation, and must take this trust and have faith in the world, challenge injustice wherever it exists, embrace our own unique strengths, and finally, to admit our own failings when they may happen. Living a good life requires all of these things, and to know who we are is an unequivocal truth that is not afforded to every person in this world. My thanks and best wishes to each of you as we, together, undertake this voyage into the next step in our lives......
