Achieving the desired competitiveness and performance standard in the modern competitive market place is a dream for most organizations. The dream is possible with the adoption of effective strategies. This will increase consumer loyalty and attract new clients to the organization alongside ensuring employee growth and development. Some of the strategies that organizations use to foster improved and sustained performance include attracting new potential clients to use their services. However, the ability to realize this depends on different factors that include taking into consideration the impact of the organizational, physical environment on the perception of consumers and employees to the organization and its services it provides.
The provision of physical surroundings the ensure achievement of the stated objectives and the marketing goals facilitates the attraction of new clients to the organization (Wadhwa, 2002).

The ability of the physical environment of an organization to influence the behaviors of the customers and employees is apparent in different organizations including hospitals, retail stores, and hospitality industry. The physical setting of the healthcare organization influences the satisfaction of the employees and the consumers, motivation and the overall productivity. In addition, the typology of the different services such as advertising, special promotion, and added features influence the ability of frequent consumption of services and attraction of new clients to the organization. The special features of the services offered heightens the visibility of the organization, which places it at a competitive position over its competitors (Wadhwa, 2002).

In addition, the physical environment of the organization influences the nature of organizational social interaction and relationship between the organizational staff and clients. Activities like the provision of client-centered care, group interaction, and friendship formation influence the perception of the clients towards the organization. Therefore, organizations must adopt the most effective physical designs that will foster the retention of existing clients and attraction of new ones so that they can utilize the services they provide (Bitner, 1992).
