Air contamination persists to be a very important issue. Air contaminants discharged in one country are often transported in the environment and harm human well-being and the environment somewhere else. Long lasting and peak contact can lead to an assortment of health consequences, ranging from minor results on the respiratory system to early mortality (About air pollution, n.d.).

Clean water is necessary to existence. Regrettably, ever since the Industrial Revolution, most of Europe's rivers have been taken care of recklessly by being used as an expedient way of conveying waste to the sea, upsetting the biodiversity of thousands of kilometers of waterways, harming human well-being, and in the end contaminating coastal and marine waters.The past several years have seen considerable advancement in taking care of the sewage and industrial wastes which are being put into Europe's river structures, resulting in inferior levels of most contaminants and a measurable progress in water quality.
