Certain physical resources, including educational handbooks, facilities for training, and infrastructure resources will also be needed. The supply of these resources should be kept in Kava inasmuch as is possible, in order to provide jobs and establish business and social roots in the community on the island. Actions that need to be taken include preliminary meetings with government officials and social leaders, the evaluation of locations for youth development programs and the hiring and training of instructors, which again should be selected from the people of Kava if at all possible in order to build and maintain stronger ties in the community and establish early goodwill through good instruction and god opportunities. These actions and the limited resource consumption they require will give a sense of the organization's values and purpose to the people of Kava in addition to Nik, Chris, and Alex, providing a consistent and strong values-based platform for the organization on the island of Kava, upon which the rest of the organization's developments can be built.

Ethical Considerations Stakeholder Perspectives

The time pressures that exist for many organizations and industries today can lead to rash actions that do not full take into account all of the necessary interests and considerations (Kreitner 2008). This can lead to a negative impact on the organization's ethicality and on the benefits of the organization's actions on the various stakeholders in the organization.

The decisions at hand, however, were made precisely so time pressures would not lead to rashness, but rather would be mitigated by the period of youth training and development that is recommended as a first course of action.
This is a highly ethical endeavor, as it demonstrates a benefit to the community before the company has started to derive direct real benefits from Kava. Though the organization will ultimately benefit from a development of the youth in Kava, this direct social investment in the community is done from the strictest ethical perspective. This plan of action will also fulfill all of the shareholder needs in the situation, at least in the short-term. It will provide Kava with the immediate benefits of increased job, youth development (which will reduce crime), and renewed social purpose and vigor; the organization will be provided with the beginnings of an educated workforce for later developments, and will be earning the goodwill of the government of Kava and the international community; and Nik, Chris, and Alex will have a focused sense of activity and operation that will provide them with abundant and highly rewarding work.

Conclusion

The decision making process is never a simple one, and with all of the various factors and uncertainties in the situation at hand, decision making becomes highly complex. With proper consideration and evaluation, however, an effective short-term decision can be made that prepares the organization and Kava for future decisions regarding….....
