My impressions of this piece of writing are that the author sees the good in the people who are closest to her in her life and that she admires people who are resourceful, spirited, kind, gentle, and perhaps most of all able to subsist on a little and overcome great odds. It is not wealth or external qualities that matter to her, rather she respects….....
