Particularly given that the contemporary society and capitalism in general is based on the concept that only the strongest survive, it is safe to assume that Darwin's theory is not false, as it perfectly illustrates the way a community (regardless of the species, the time period, or the individuals involved) functions. The recent years have proved how in order to be successful; one has to exploit all of his or her qualities to the fullest. In desperate times, people resort to committing desperate acts, in hope that this will save them from failure. When coming across conditions that require all of their energy, people are likely to feel less compassion about those around them, with the purpose of ensuring their personal safety.

Evolution is virtually based on Darwin's theory of natural selection, as throughout the ages those who were more capable to achieve success in the surrounding environment managed to sustain themselves for longer periods of time, whereas the others were simply pushed aside in order to make way for the winners.Natural selection is actually a very logical process, as it constantly occurs in our society, with people in America and Canada regularly dealing with cases involving a more capable individual beating one that is less capable in the field that they work. It is only natural for a company manager (for example) to employ someone who is better prepared in favor or someone who is underprepared, since such an act would increase the company's chances to gain larger profits. This is done with no regard to the person who does not get the job, since he or she is considered unimportant, and thus his or her "survival" is of no interest to the company......
