The U.S. Patriot Act is the result of the 9/11 attaches and represents the cornerstone of the new national security strategy. There are various discussions on the actual qualities of the Act because the right to privacy is in most cases infringed. These are an element to be kept in mind: terrorism represents a threat which addresses the right to life, which is a basic need and requirement, a goal which can be considered as having sacrificed some beliefs.
One of the most important aspects resolved by the Act is the fact that it increased the level of security in airports especially. Indeed there are those who travel by plane which may be in fact terrorists. Another important issue the Patriot Act tried to resolve was the extensive flexibility of the system of information. It is possible that the right to privacy to be important for particular segment of the society.
