Creativity Challenge for Fast Foods:

Fast food is a concept whose origin can be traced back to the beginning of the 19th Century in reaction to the growing demands for food. Since then, the concept has developed to an extent that the modern society heavily relies on fast foods. Fast foods are well described through the term itself, which means that they are foods that can be cooked fast. The process of cooking these foods involves the use of cooking methods that enable the cook or chef to finish cooking within the shortest time possible. Fast foods have become a favorite choice of food for a huge number of people across the globe because of the advancements in the food process industry, delicious food, and lower costs.

Challenges or Problems Associated with Fast Foods:

As the concept of fast foods has become a common choice throughout the world, there are several challenges that have emerged. These challenges basically revolve around creativity that may affect further innovation and consumption of these foods. The major creativity challenges originate from the fact that such foods contain various health-related problems that are linked to its consumption. Furthermore, fast foods have become an unhealthy addition to people's diet because of low cost and convenience. These foods largely increase the risk of developing several chronic diseases and life-threatening health issues for people of all ages. The creativity challenge of fast foods that are likely to affect further innovation include & #8230;

Nutrients:

According to Scholasticus (2010), the main ingredients used in fast foods basically contain large portions of trans fats. Moreover, most of these foods also consist of huge quantities of meat and less fibers as well as high concentration of LDL cholesterol, fats, and unhealthy proteins.
As a result, the nutrients derived from fast foods are likely to cause health problems since they have low nutritional value. As these nutrients are not balanced and have huge portions of proteins and fats, excessive consumption of the foods result in health problems.

Eating Habits and Other External Factors:

The second major creativity challenge for further innovation of fast foods is the human eating habits i.e. consumption of these foods. Due to convenience and low cost, many people have turned to fast foods despite of the numerous health problems associated with them. Since these foods do not have a good amount of fiber, they are not easy to digest. Actually, the food matter remains undigested and gets deposited in the body's abdominal tissues since the body is incapable of digesting calorie heavy food. Moreover, human beings have also developed weird eating habits and styles that make it difficult for the body to digest these fast foods and assimilate their nutrients.
