In my senior year I will have the opportunity to conduct independent research on a topic of my choice. My senior project will focus on a specific area within my chosen discipline and to carry out the project I will learn about the protocols of academic research. Moreover, my project will involve creativity and collaboration with classmates and will demand academic diligence. The skills I develop throughout my senior year will carry over into graduate school and into my career, as I will undoubtedly write and read countless reports related to the state of international markets and the market climate relative to the energy industries.

Moreover, I have a thirst for knowledge that can only be quenched through as challenging a career as the one I have chosen, one that involves keeping up-to-date on latest research, news, and theories. As an undergraduate I have proven my ambition by pursuing volunteer and work-study opportunities that reflect my interest in global finance and global energy. My participation in student study groups has also led to tutoring opportunities that allowed me to share what I have already learned with others. I have created Power Point presentations to share with classmates, beyond the requirements for my courses. My core curricular interests are also supplemented by interest in sports and music that enable me to relax and reflect upon my goals, the goals that I continue to cultivate......
