The media world is especially important in the contemporary society when considering its ability to influence individuals. A great deal of ideas associated with the media has gradually come to be significant when regarded from the perspective of an ordinary person. While the technological progress in the contemporary society has reached great heights, people continue to have trouble integrating the social order properly. Choreography was particularly important when taking into account its history and its ability to change people's understanding of the world. Laban was often inclined to blame dancers on account of how they failed to act in accordance with his 'laws'. As a consequence, many dancers criticized his tendency to interfere in their line of work. He considered progress in general as one of the concepts that need to guide people through their everyday lives. He appeared to be more concerned about interacting with others than in the effects...

Many of Laban's work went as far as going against the Nazis and ideas they promoted, taking into account that he focused on socially acceptable ideas.
Laban's work practically influences individuals to do everything in their power while addressing a series of controversial theories. Persons practically have to appreciate these respective concepts is order for society as a whole to experience progress. Although ideas contemporary to Laban would have influenced an individual to take on another path, his theories encouraged him to live his life without regrets and with the purpose of improving the condition of mankind as a whole.

Laban was well-acquainted with the condition of people today and thus focused on addressing ideas generally promoted in the contemporary society. One does not apparently have to have his life planned ahead in order for the respective individual to feel good about him or herself.
