Heller. This was a challenge to a Washington D.C. law that made it illegal to: carry any kind of handguns inside the city. The court ruled that the law was a violation of the Second Amendment. The piece of literature that was written by Hess (2006), discusses the history of Supreme Court cases surrounding various gun control laws.
