Electricity is probably one of the most basic privileges we know as humankind today. Almost everything we do in our professional or private lives is in some way powered by electricity. Since Edison's invention of the electric light bulb, electricity has developed to power almost every aspect of business and pleasure today. The many inventions and developments of electricity over the last century or so has made it so complex that few people who do not study it in fact know how it works or can repair wiring when something goes wrong. This is why I am interested in the field of electric engineering. Since electricity and the many things we can do with it today hold great fascination for me, it is my aim to make this my major when enrolling for undergraduate study. I have always been interested in the field of electricity and the engineering that makes it possible. As a child, I would frequently watch professionals make repairs to our home electrical...

At school, many of my projects included building gadgets and little machines that run on batteries or electrical power. I also have a large number of books and magazines where I have the most up-to-date information at my fingertips. In addition, I do frequent online research to gain information about the newest electrical inventions and the various branches of electrical engineering. I therefore have no doubt that I can make a success of an undergraduate course with electrical engineering as my major.
I believe there is a great demand for electrical engineers in the world today, and this demand can only grow. With the rapid advances in technology, an electrical engineer will always be in demand. Because of the increasingly complicated nature of technology, electrical engineers will be in constant demand to perform maintenance and repair work. I find the prospect of helping people maintain their technology extremely appealing.…

Engineering Curriculum Content Engineering curriculum Acquiring Engineering education is essential in training good quality engineer who afterwards becomes equipped to take up challenging task and responsibility as they undertake their duty. As one who is bestowed with responsibilities of administering an institution with limited resources and assigned to take part in revising the engineering curriculum that can accommodate more number of graduates, it is important to have necessary curriculum contents. 2009). This gives a strong idea of where the ethical onus lies in the practice of engineering. Another rather more expansive case study can be derived form the current state of bridges in the United States, and the general state of disrepair of many bridges that are still n regular heavy use (Harris et al. 2009). A rating system has been developed that determines when a bridge should be put

Engineering Specialization Management The rapid evolution of computer networking is completely redefining the role of computer and system engineering within companies globally, in addition to making the management of these systems critical for long-term success. Management Information Systems as a field is rapidly expanding due in large part to the need of enterprises to integrate their many of their legacy systems, many of them built in-house, with new Enterprise Resource Planning

D.). Following this period of exploration one must tackle the seismic interpreters with their predictions and drill exploration wells. If these wells are on-shore, then the cost can be modest, but if the prospected reservoir is off-shore in ultra deep water, drilling a well is very expensive and it becomes an interesting strategy game to balance the risk of drilling a dry well against the risk of missing a big cat.

Engineers should focus on the improvement of the performance of the economy. This relates to the transformation of the theories of controlling the world and adopting new frameworks in the operating in conjunction with the planet. New engineers need to adopt and implement new theories of focusing on the economic, social, and political concepts in relation to both technical and nontechnical disciplines (Cameron 2010 p.40). Third, subsystems engineers are more attuned to how their specific product and technology areas are driven by external market forces and market dynamics than system engineers typically are. The reason is that subsystem engineers, both hardware and software, seek to understand how customer and market needs impact their existing and future designs. As both of these classes of subsystem engineers are more focused on how to create valuable contributions
